Cameron K. Rokhsar, M.D., F.A.A.D., F.A.A.C.S., an internationally renowned laser surgeon, is a Board Certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained cosmetic and laser surgeon in private practice in Manhattan and Long Island. He practices cosmetic and general dermatology with a particular focus on laser and other non surgical treatments, aesthetic enhancements with fillers, Mohs Micrographic Surgery, minimally invasive liposuction, and the treatment of acne and acne scars.
Dr. Rokhsar is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University and attended medical school at The New York University School of Medicine where he received his doctorate of medicine. After his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, he completed his dermatology residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City where he was honored for his teaching and leadership skills as Chief Resident. In addition, Dr. Rokhsar received fellowship training in cosmetic, laser and dermatologic surgery in San Diego, California.
In his career, Dr. Rokhsar has been involved in the development of several laser systems, including the Fraxel laser, and has conducted pivotal research projects to develop protocols for multiple other laser systems. Dr. Rokhsar has also invented many non surgical facial enhancement procedures in his career, including the non surgical nosejob and the non surgical eyelift.
