Xeomin - is the newest botulinum toxin on the market that is in the same class of injectables as substances like Dysport and Botox. It smoothes out wrinkles by paralyzing the muscles that contract and cause lines to form. Unlike Botox and Dysport, however, Xeomin is an uncomplexed toxin, or "pure." Botox and Dysport both consist of the botulinum toxin along with a carrier, or "chaperone" protein. This extra molecule increases the likelihood of the body developing antibodies to the product, an issue that is avoided when using Xeomin. It is also administered in the same dosages as Botox, so doctors do not need to be retrained to mix appropriate portions of Xeomin as they do with Dysport. Dr. Rokhsar has been among a select group of physicians in the United States chosen by Merz, the maker of xeomin, for early clinical use of Xeomin for patients, being a highly experienced and high volume botulinum toxin injector.
Asclera - is a brand new way to address unsightly varicose veins, also known as spider veins. A doctor injects Asclera into the largest veins, causing them to collapse. Pressure is applied to the injection site and the Asclera is massaged into the tributary blood vessels that receive their blood supply from the larger veins, causing them to collapse as well. This in turn cuts off the blood flow to the smaller capillaries that branch off the parent veins and thus diminishes them. After the treatment, patients are advised to wear compression socks for a few days to maintain the pressure on the injection area so the procedure fully takes hold. There is only the slight pain of the injections and the results are permanent.
Liposonix - is a non-surgical, non-invasive way to tackle those stubborn last few pounds standing between you and the contoured body you want. Using High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound energy, Liposonix creates lesions in the fat layer 1.3 centimeters below the skin's surface. The body then destroys the damaged fat cells and naturally cleanses them from the body over the next 8-12 weeks. Since it is non-invasive, there is virtually no down-time and patients can get back to their regular lives almost immediately. One treatment of one area takes about one hour, and can result in a reduction of one dress size. Good candidates for Liposonix are within 15-20 pounds of their ideal weight and have 2.3 centimeters of pinchable fat. Dr. Rokhsar is the first physician in the United States to have offered liposonix to patients.
Zeltiq - is a non-surgical, non-invasive way to reduce fat and achieve the sculpted look you desire. Different substances have different freezing points, so Zeltiq can target fat cells by cooling them to their unique freezing point and damaging them. Other tissues are not affected because they have different freezing points so Zeltiq selectively affects only the fat cells in the treatment area. The device uses suction to draw up the area to be treated and then cools it to the appropriate temperature. Patients can watch TV, read or simply relax during the procedure, which takes about one hour per area. Over the following 2-3 months, the body will gradually break down and remove the damaged fat cells and patients can lose about 20% fat.
Ulthera - is a non-surgical, non-invasive new way to tighten and firm sagging skin on the face, neck, and eyebrows. Ultherapy uses the energy of ultrasound waves to penetrate into the support structure below the skin's surface. At the same time, ultrasound imaging technology allows the doctor to visually verify the areas being treated and customize the treatment to the patient's individual needs. In the next 2-3 months following the treatment, the collagen matrix that was stimulated by the ultrasound energy is built-up again. Patients will experience an uplifting of their drooping skin and achieve a more naturally youthful appearance.
Miradry - is a revolutionary new approach to the treatment of hyperhidrosis, or excessive sweating. In the past the only medical options available to sufferers of hyperhidrosis were prescription anti-perspirants and botox injections into sweat glands of the axilla (underarms). Anti-perspirants can only treat the symptoms of hyperhidrosis, and injections last only a few months. Miradry uses thermal energy to destroy the over-active sweat glands, and these cells are not recreated by the body, so the treatment is permanent. Using controlled microwave energy, Miradry non-invasively penetrates the skin surface to the depth where sweat glands are found and damages them so they no longer function. At the skin's surface, a hydro-ceramic cooling system manages any discomfort from the heat and traps the thermal energy in the sweat gland region being targeted. Dr. Rokhsar is the first physician in New York and New Jersey to offer the Miradry treatment and thus is the most experienced physician on the use of Miradry in the tristate area.

Non-Surgical
15 minute
Nose Job
The
Non-Surgical
15 minute Nose Job,
pioneered
by Dr.
Cameron
Rokhsar,
is a
simple no
down time
technique
to change
the shape
of your
nose with
a few
simple
injections
of a
filler
substance
named
Radiesse.
The
procedure
is done
under
numbing
cream,
takes 15
minutes,
with
virtually
little or
no pain,
bruising
or
swelling.
You can
return to
your work
or social
life
immediately
with
instantaneous
results.
Radiesse
is an FDA
approved
filler
substance.
We have
seen a
shift in
demand by
patients
from
invasive
procedures
to
minimally
invasive
procedures
in the
past
decade.
For
example
CO2
laser
resurfacing
which is
the gold
standard
for laser
rejuvenation
has
largely
been
replaced
by gentle
resurfacing
with
devices
like
Fraxel.
Since we
can use
Botox to
elevate
the
eyebrow,
brow lifts
are less
popular as
they once
used to
be. The
non-surgical
nose 15
minute
nose job
is an
alternative
to
surgical
rhinoplasty
for many
individuals
who wish
to alter
the shape
of their
nose or
restore
symmetry
to their
nose.
Dr.
Rokhsar
places a
filler
substance,
named
Radiesse,
through
controlled
and
precise
injections
to hide
away
dents,
bumps,
sideways deviations,
raise the
nasal tip,
or contour
irregularities
to restore
a more
symmetric
look to
your nose.
The end
result is
that your
nose will
look more
proportional
and
smaller in
your
facial
frame.
Your
results
are
instantaneous.

As one

Hollowness
or bags

eyes can
be
corrected
or
camouflaged
through
the
placement
of small
amounts of
a filler
substance
named
Restylane
in the

This is a

procedure
done with

and it
takes less
than 15
minutes.
The
results
can last 6
months to
one year.

GFX
Procedure
- NO-TOX
Dr.
Cameron
Rokhsar, a
leading
cosmetic
dermatologist
in New
York City,
is the
first
physician
in the
Northeast
to adopt
the GFX
Procedure
in his
practice.
He has
recognized
the
incredible
improvement
GFX has
made over
Botox.
Where
Botox has
made the
anti-aging
market
turn on
its heels,
GFX can
make it
obsolete,
said Dr.
Rokhsar.
The GFX
Procedure
expands on
the
initial
principal
of Botox
by
weakening
the motor
nerves
that cause
frown
lines but
instead of
blocking
the
signals
sent from
nerves to
the
muscles,
GFX uses
radiofrequency
energy to
effectively
weaken
motor
nerves.
This in
turn
damages
the
nerves,
which
causes a
relaxation
of the
muscle and
creates a
smoothing
effect on
frown
lines.
