Rokhsar,
M.D.
F.A.A.D.,
F.A.A.C.S.,
an
internationally
renowned
laser
surgeon,
is an
assistant
clinical
professor
of
dermatology
at Albert
Einstein
College of
Medicine

York. A
board
certified
dermatologist,
he
completed
his
undergraduate
studies at
Harvard
University,
followed
by his
medical
school
training

York
University
School of
Medicine
where he

his
doctorate

medicine.

Hospital

York City,
he
completed
his
dermatology
residency

Albert

for his
teaching
and
leadership
skills as
Chief
Resident.
Dr.
Rokhsar
went on to
receive
fellowship
training
in
cosmetic,

dermatologic
Surgery in
San Diego.
Dr.
Rokhsar is
a a fellow
of the
American
Academy of
Dermatology,
a fellow
of the

for Laser
Medicine
and
Surgery,
and a
fellow of

Society
for

Dr.
Rokhsar is
active in
several
professional
societies,
including
being on
the board
of
trustees
for
International
Society of
Cosmetic
and Laser
Surgeons,
the Ethics
committee
for
American
Society of
Laser
Medicine
and
Surgery,
and the
chair for
the
abstract
session of
the
American
Society
for Laser
Medicine

Surgery.
Dr.
Rokhsar
has a
special
interest
in eyelid rejuvenation
and
blepharoplasty,
laser
resurfacing,
laser
surgery
for
rejuvenation
as well as
birthmarks,
port wine
stains,
tattoos,
scars, and
other
dermatologic
conditions,
treatment
of
wrinkles
with
Botox, and
Fillers
such as
Restylane,
Collagen,
Radiesse
and
Sculptra,
liposculpture
and
liposuction
with the
tumescent
technique,
hair restoration surgery
,
skin
cancer and
its
treatment
through
Mohs Micrographic Surgery,
and
general
skin care.
Dr.
Rokhsar
has also
pioneered
the use of
Radiesse
for the
Non-Surgical nose job,
and the
use of
Restylane
for the
non-surgical
eyelift.
Dr.
Rokhsar
spent a
considerable
portion of
the past
four years
refining
and
developing
applications
for a new
laser technology
named
Fraxel,
after
working
with a
prototype
device and
is
considered
an
international
authority
on this
subject.
In fact,
he has
trained
more
physicians
on the use
of the
Fraxel
laser for
fractional
resurfacing
in the
United
States and
around the
globe than
any other
physician.
He was one
of the
first to
introduce
Fraxel
Laser
technology
in the
Unites
States and
the world
medical
community
after
working
with a
prototype
device for
a year.
He has
trained
numerous
physicians
on the
technique
and
parameters
used for
this laser
technology
for
various
indications.
Dr.
Rokhsar
has
lectured
on this
subject
numerous
times
including
at
Controversies
and
Conversations
in Laser
Surgery,
American
Society
for
Dermatologic
Surgery,
the
American
Academy of
Cosmetic

Medicine
and

has been
